Ski Club of Great Britain mountain
restaurant race returns to Zermatt Add
excitement to a ski holiday by taking
part in a resort race
For skiers and snowboarders looking to
add that extra element to their ski
holiday, the Ski Club of Great Britain's
Luttman-Johnson Challenge mountain
restaurant race returns to the Swiss
resort of Zermatt this February.
Taking part in a mountain race or resort
event can really add excitement and
focus to a week-long ski holiday and the
Ski Club Luttman-Johnson Challenge which
has been running for over 35 years will
take place on Wednesday 9th February
2011 starting at the Hotel Pollux in
Zermatt centre.
This unique all day race involves racing
between mountain restaurants whilst
trying to spend as long as possible in
each one. The race attracts over 50
teams of skiers and snowboarders, most
sporting fancy dress outfits and has
prizes for both visitors and season
workers at the prize-giving party at the
Hotel Pollux.
The prize giving will be followed by an
after party in conjunction with the
Natives Show Love Tour at Nelly's Bar.
The Ski Club Luttman-Johnson Challenge
costs CHF 30 for teams of two Ski
Club members or CHF 35 for teams of two
non Ski Club members. Teams can
register with the Ski Club Leaders at
the Hotel Pollux bar from 18.30-19.30
each evening prior to the race. For more
