Ski Freshtracks, the biggest provider of ski holidays specifically for older skiers, offers 26 dedicated trips and their loyal following stems from the huge variety of resorts and types of holidays on offer. Because all holidays are graded by ski standard and hosted by experienced holiday leaders, the Ski Freshtracks concept is ideal for older couples or solo skiers. This winter there are several holidays offering single rooms with no supplement. “We understand that our more mature ski clients are still looking for a wide choice of resorts, smart accommodation and whatever their standard, an adventure to suit”, says Caroline Boileau, General Manager of Ski Freshtracks. “Also, as each holiday group is graded by ability, every skier has a sociable experience with like-minded skiers of the same standard. Interestingly, last winter we found that 25% of our bookings came from clients under the obligatory age*”.
Top ability skiers can choose to holiday in the following resorts: La Grave, Chamonix and St Anton; intermediates wanting instruction and the comfort of a first class hotel can take a package to Grindelwald or Lech and there are also Peak Experience holidays to suit varying standards to, for example, the resorts of Laax, Klosters, Zermatt and Obergurgl, Big White and Sun Peaks. New for the Ski Freshtracks Peak Experience programme for winter 2009-10 are the resorts of Cortina and Colfosco in the Dolomites and Crans Montana and Grimentz in Switzerland.
